Steve Leopard
As a child, Steve loved his pets – dogs named Wrinkles, Cleo, Charcoal, two cats, pigeons, doves, and other assorted birds. He spent countless hours playing with them, teaching them tricks, and loving them. His love for animals continues today, and he and his wife, Charlene, share their home with Oliver, a lab hound mix, and Axel, a hearing-impaired Australian Cattle dog – both of whom have been happy customers of All Breed Care.
Steve has also fostered several dogs for local animal rescues, volunteered at the Curtis Dail SPCA adoption center, and assisted with Agility Training with Sylvie Pleasant's K9 Solutions training classes. Since transitioning from his office job and returning to school, Steve has been thrilled to be able to spend his days with his own pups and all of the other furry friends who he meets through All Breed Care. Steve is also an avid runner and loves to provide exercise for active dogs. At the same time, his softer side definitely makes time for cuddles and love for our less-active dogs. |

Laurie Gayle
Laurie has always had a passion for animals. Her mom could tell you stories of Laurie as a little girl disappearing on dime store shopping trips only to be found in a trance somewhere between the mice and the fish tanks in the pet department. Turtles, mice, gerbils, guinea pigs, rats, fish, cats, dogs, and horses all came to live at the Gayle household at one time or other...thankfully not at the same time.
After working for years at horse stables as a manager and riding instructor, Laurie decided to combine her training as an artist and her passion for animals by painting and drawing commissioned pet portraits in the old masters style. She challenges herself everyday to capture the spirit as well as an exact likeness of each animal that she paints. Her goal is for her clients to have a portrait that they can look at long after their beloved pet has passed and help them keep the memories of their special bond. Visit Portraits by Laurie Gayle to see her exquisite artwork.
Laurie loves working for All Breed Care. She says it's her dream job because she gets to be around animals all day, then go to the studio and paint them all night. Laurie continues to be horse crazy and always has a dog by her side. She has a retired German Warmblood Horse, Hansel and a German Shepherd Dog, Saber. |

Patty Rorick
Patty has always loved animals! She, her husband, two sons, and lab, Jeter, moved to Wake Forest in 2006. In 2008, they rescued Leia, a 6 month old Pit Bull puppy that found her way to their front lawn, and very quickly into their hearts. As a former Kindergarten teacher, Patty understands that dogs and children are similar in how they learn. Patty is very active, and enjoys hiking, camping, visiting the beach, and taking daily walks with Jeter and Leia.
Patty began pursuing her passion to work with animals and found All Breed Care to be a perfect fit. She feels like she has the best job caring for the beloved pets of her clients, knowing how important pets are in their lives. |

Nick Wright
A veteran of the Armed Forces who served our country in Operations overseas, Nick has had a variety of jobs since he has been out of the military. None he has enjoyed more than working for All Breed Care. It has been a great match for someone like Nick, who loves animals! In addition to caring for and playing with his clients’ pets, Nick feels he is providing a much needed service to the community.
After a day of caring for clients’ pets, Nick looks forward to returning home to his wife and kids – Bowzer, a Boxer mix, and Peanut, a Fiest mix. He enjoys sharing his experiences with his family and treats all the pets in his care like his own. |

Sheyenne Michelizzi
Sheyenne has always loved animals. Growing up she had her very own “Nana” from Peter Pan, named Doobie. Now she has two dogs of her own. Harley is a senior Schipperke and the newest addition to her family is Bodhi, a puppy she rescued from the Orange County Animal Shelter last fall. They’re all full of energy and spend lots of time running around outside.
While not spending time with pups, Sheyenne works in performing arts management. She’s a NC State grad and spent a semester in Prague to finish up her degree. Sheyenne has a very special way about her which makes her a favorite among all of the doggies and kitties she cares for through All Breed Care. |

Kelly Davis
Kelly grew up in a home where her parents had pets before they had children. Growing up in a house with both cats and dogs, she developed a strong affinity for companion animals and has had dogs and cats all of her adult life. She currently shares her home with two dogs, Gizzy and Riley. Both mixed breeds, they are rescues (one from a high-kill shelter and one from the SPCA). For the past six years, in addition to her day job (she works in an early intervention program for infants and toddlers with visual impairments), Kelly has also been an active volunteer at the SPCA. In 2007, she was given the Volunteer of the Year Award for her dedication and outstanding service to this organization. Besides weekly volunteering with the dogs (as a matchmaker), she also is involved in the food barrel program, volunteers for many SPCA events, serves on two SPCA board subcommittees, and has signed up for the newly established AniMeals program. Kelly is also involved in the Wake Coalition for Animals, a local advocacy group dedicated to insuring humane treatment of pets in Wake County and across the state. |

Caroline Hite
Caroline cannot imagine her life without animals. As a child, she was always trying to rescue some poor injured bird or rabbit. She grew up with dogs of all shapes and sizes and today, has a Golden Retriever named Cane. She also has a cat named Blue who she rescued from Hurricane Floyd. Caroline found Blue while she was serving as a volunteer at a makeshift shelter for displaced animals.
Caroline has a son named Cheyenne who attends Appalachian State and shares his mother’s passion for animals. She has a Zoology degree from NC State and worked as a veterinary technician for eight years. Caroline now works for the American Kennel Club and has been there since 1997. Lily Booth
Lily is a native Californian and recent transplant to the Southeast. She has always had deep a love and appreciation for animals and the special joy they bring to our lives.
Growing up in Southern California she had many cherished cats and a few very special dogs. When she moved to San Francisco to attend school, her beloved black Maine Coon mix cat, Zack, came with her. After a few years in the city, Lily met and married her husband, Brian, and the trio have recently made Raleigh their new home. Lily has loved experiencing the distinct seasons and the bird and plant varieties that are new to her in the triangle area.
Lily hopes to adopt more pets in the future, but in the meantime, every pet she meets and works with is as important as her own. She feels lucky to have found a job that is so well suited to her affinity for animals. |
